I shoot wedding photography and was at an event here this summer. Though rain put a bit of a damper on the day, the grounds, exterior, and interior space were a perfect spot for a wedding. The castle is a replica of an European castle, and has a historic feel and is not as stuffy as some venues I have been to. There is rich woodwork, both cozy and open spaces including a fabulous turret room ideal for formals in bad weather.

The setting of this very authentic castle way up on a hill is absolutely lovely. It is the perfect place for a medieval themed wedding. Even if you never go inside the castle, the outside will spark the imagination and provide the opportunity for unique photographs.

I recently visited the castle for a retirement party and it was wonderful. But the only problem i can see is it is not air conditioned and it was very hot that night. Great place to visit but I wouldn't want to have my kids wedding there.
